GTA Trilogy - Everything we know so far

With the recent announcement of Grand Theft Auto: The Triology - Definite Edition, multiple leaks have been reported, from the achievements to the PC specs needed to play the game.

With the help of some dataminers from the GTAForums, mainly from the help of user alloc8r, we now know alot of the features that were added to the triology, including:

Three cities to explore

One of the most surprising part of the leak is that GTA San Andreas has in itself three cities, which means that possibly not all of the cities will be available, at least at launch. Although it they may consider the whole GTA San Andreas as a city, it seems kind of odd to mention only three cities.

Upgrade the Old

Other leaks include the updated high resolution textures, and GTA V control like system for this remaster, bringing these worlds closer to modern standards while trying to maintain the original storyline. This will mean that these games might not play as clunky as they once did, but may also feel like a reskin of GTA V on older games, rather than an fully updated engine for this trilogy.

PC System Requirements

The next leak is pertaining the system requirements to run the game on PC.

Recommended Requirements:

- Intel Core i7-6600k | AMD Ryzen 5 2600

- 16GB of RAM

- Windows 10

- 45GB of Storage

From these specs, we can expect a full fleshed out game that brings these classics to the modern era, pushing the envelope on current gen graphics. One of the most surprising aspects is the storage space needed, 45GB of storage seem kind of low for current standards, but since it's a remaster of older games, it may justify the size, and our PCs thank them for the service.
